In conversation with Silence

After my conversation with silence I realized what was missing in life. I never knew that silence was so satisfying. Unlike the people she listened to me patiently. Not only she gave a listening ear but she also guided me to introspection. She told me that when all the voices in the world compete to be listened, she stands in the corner staring at them very well aware of the fact that one of them might win the competition but will not be satisfied, and she embraced me after saying that. I felt the warmth in my mind. My mind which was so restless, rested in her arms like a baby, and she made sure that mind gets some rest like a caring mother.

In the process she also made me meet myself when I was so busy and interested in meeting others. And to my surprise I was charmed by myself after the meeting. She made me realize that the things I am searching outside lies within me. Like a true lover she made me realize my true potential. Otherwise up till now I was just involved in increasing the noise pollution.

In the beginning, to be very frank, I felt a bit uncomfortable in striking a conversation with Silence and fortunately she took the charge and led the conversation. In the process she revealed that she and Love are best of friends, and how Love feels enliven only in her presence. She also shared that love feels uncomfortable when a lot of Words come marching towards him. I felt the irony. Her statement made me realize that how lame are we, that we grope for words when they are not even necessary sometimes. She appreciated my listening but in the end also warned from becoming a recluse.

I told her that I like spending time with her and also asked her to bring her friend Love next time to join the conversation.

Trying to find my refuge in Silence.

Find God Elsewhere

Uttarkhand is known as Dev Bhumi, but now in the future it would have a completely different identification. The incident has shaken every individual. And we cannot even imagine the state of the people who witnessed it live. This tragic incident will make its place in the history books. Thanks to all the wonderful people who went there in search of God. And, I pity the young kids who lost their families and the irony is that they are unknown to the meaning of God and pilgrimage.

For God sake stop finding God at pilgrimages. I sometimes wonder who actually took this wonderful initiative of making pilgrimages, and that too at the most scariest places of all. Hats off to them as they very calculatively chose the spot to make sure it becomes a herculean task. It seems less of a journey to salvation (who knows about it) and more of a journey to death bed. And we all go to these places with all the enthusiasm, as if God is hosting some show called ‘Khatron ke khiladi’, and in return he would be rewarding us. Yes! These journeys have been rewarding many times and this time the reward is beyond calculation.

I don’t understand why we all fall in trap of this process. I can bet that whether its young or old generation everybody is aware of the fact that God is present everywhere, God is Omnipresent, but still we go there thinking that only blessed gets a chance to make this journey. This superstition people are carrying with them from centuries. The incident of Uttarakhand proves that the people are blindfolded by superstition. I think Mr. Superstition has read the theory of Charles Darwin, ‘Survival Of the Fittest’. Its time people stop nurturing their superstitions.

I feel very sorry for the people who lost their lives and family members.

The New Success Mantra

So you are talented, smart, good at your work, but still not getting promoted! SAD! Consider Bitching or Backstabbing! Yes you heard it right bitching is the old yet new talent required to make your place in the organization. Gossiping is our hobby so why not use it intelligently to our gain ;)The day is not far when we would start highlighting this talent in our resumes. The recruiters will only hire people who meet this requirement.

I have an experience of around five years now and so I can tell from my experience. Honestly speaking, in the initial months of my career, I used to feel guilty about the fact that I am to falling in this endless mire of politics but to my surprise I only fell to rise. And in the process, one of the myths, that only girls like to gossip got busted, as most of the time it is the male gender that brings the hot topic to the table. And let me tell you gossiping is just an understated word. Both the genders are equally capable of bitching /backstabbing/politics etc.

Now the good thing is soon the universities could launch new subjects to master, like Masters in Bitching, Masters in Backbiting. We could also have short term programs available like: Learn New ways of Backstabbing; Different types of Bitching etc. The Social Scientist could have a new topic to research on (good for them). There could be a complete new career line available. Amazing isn’t it?

The above discussed qualities are already there in our genes it’s just that we have to be subtle in our ways. The new success mantra awaits you!
