Pink Pages of Anubhuti's Life
Episode 2
There she
was sitting in the car trying to shed her inhibitions. And now a new thought
was pestering her as in what he might have in his mind that he came to meet
her; ‘Did he like her?’ or ‘was it just a regular meeting that he was aiming
at?’ her confusion was justified as she could not figure out what was going on
his mind. In all that befuddlement, she thought of first interrogating herself
as in what was her take on it. She wanted to know her feelings about the
meeting first. Waves of emotions attacked her from all sides hence she finally
decided to put all her thoughts on a halt and just be in the moment. There was
then awkward silence that came over. She thought maybe he too was thinking on
the same lines. But he seemed very relaxed and she ridiculed herself on that
rapid imagination of hers. They had a light conversation as they seem to have a
lot in common; hence conversation was not hard to strike. They finally reached
the mall.
They sat in
a cafe. The ambiance was like any normal cafe, where the seats were arranged in
such a way that it seemed that you are accompanied not by one but many. Luckily
it was not crowded that day. The seats were uncomfortable like hell for her, and
it seemed that he too was feeling the same for the seats. But despite of the
uncomfortable seat she enjoyed the conversation with him. It was a plain
conversation without any adulteration of unwanted feelings and thoughts.
Sometimes how beautiful it is to converse with someone without contaminating
the conversation. A pure and undiluted conversation was what they had. He had
these mild expressions while he was conversing with her. There was nothing
extraordinary about his looks but still there was something enticing about it.
She wished the conversation to last a little longer. She was drinking the
wonderfulness of the moment and to her surprise without having any feelings for
him. Or was she falling for him. As per his feelings she only thought it’s
better to be confirmed about hers first.
It was time
and they left.
